Where Have You Been?

I know it’s been awhile. I’ve been a little all over the place, in every aspect, and haven’t had time to sit down and share what’s new. I have to backup my life on the Cloud because I’ve been full for a couple months now. Okay let’s see if you guys can keep up. Ready?

Back in September I had another girls trip with some of my childhood friends from middle school and high school. We boarded a plane heading to Los Angeles, California. We had a nice time. Ate good food, sipped mimosas til we were full of bubbles, and did some site seeing. The best part of the trip for me was definitely going to see the Hollywood sign. The view was breathtaking. We Googled and asked locals how to get to the sign and everyone made it seem as if it was impossible but we found our way 🙂

For anyone planning to visit LA anytime soon, I recommend Fat Sal’s for late night food, Baisx Cafe and Pann’s for great brunch and mimosas, and Medusa nightclub for a night on the town.

October was also a busy month for me. I had zero plans to travel anywhere but I was coerced by friends and family to live my best life. As much as I was against it, kicking and screaming the entire way, I enjoyed myself. I found myself online shopping to visit my home away from home, Nashville, TN to attend my homecoming; Tennessee State University for those who are wondering. I was dreading the trip up until the day of. I was DOG tired the entire weekend but me and my girls shut it down per usual. Honestly, probably the most fun I had at homecoming in a long time. It’s always nice to get with your girlfriends and do ratchet sh*t from time to time just to get away from the stresses of adulthood.

After leaving Nashville, I had to unpack and repack for my next trip that took place four days later. Whew! Are y’all still following? It’s almost over I promise. I boarded yet another plane to Barcelona, Spain with my family for my mother’s birthday. The six hour flight there was not fun on my old dancers knees. I was screaming the name Jesus the entire way. Once we landed the pain was worth— nah! Nothing is worth that kind of pain but I definitely enjoyed the trip. Barcelona is so peaceful. I’m glad I was able to help my mommy celebrate her 56th birthday the way she wanted. Barcelona is on my list of places to visit again one day in this life time. Beautiful views from the top of the mountains. Tasty sangria’s, overly satisfying food. Can you tell that I travel just so I can enjoy food and drinks?

We made it through my last few months of living my best life in 2017. I’ll be back soon. xoxo
